Alcatraz is the most popular destination in San Francisco- so be sure to get your tickets far in advance!

Alcatraz Cruises offers a guaranteed price of $30.00 for Adult Admission, which is the best deal for trips to the island.

Call 415-981-ROCK or visit www.alcatrazcruises.com to book your tickets.

Originally a military prison and defense fort in the 19th Century, Alcatraz is more known for the federal penitentiary that it housed between 1934 and 1963. It was home to some of America’s most dangerous criminals, including Al “Scarface” Capone. It also is known for the American Indian Occupation of 1969, which was an important moment in the American Indian Rights movement. It is a fascinating place to explore just for its wildlife alone; rare plants and flowers, marine wildlife, and seabirds fill the different parts of the island. Come see the history for yourself, and leave amazed!
